Human specialists do the language work that needs judgement. That has not changed and will not. Our own technology takes care of the things that break down when the volume grows:
Tracked changes, field codes, cross-references, equations and numbering return exactly as they were sent. This is the problem most often found late, when a file is already with a journal.
Terminology and style are held across every document in a project, not only within each file. That is the difference between a batch of separate jobs and a programme.
References are checked against the style guide you name, and citations are matched against the reference list. Available on its own as a reference report.
Every submission and delivery is recorded, so a question asked months later is answered from the record rather than from somebody's inbox.
Institutional material is frequently pre-publication, commercially sensitive, or strictly confidential. We work under confidentiality agreements, with agreed retention and deletion periods, and we delete on request.
For highly restricted material we offer a controlled translation environment. The work is done offline, on a system that sends nothing to the internet or to any cloud service and uses no AI or machine translation. It keeps a complete record of what was done to each document, which you can hand to your compliance team. Available now*

What is licensable is the UE AI Editor Suite: job intake, document forensics, protected-span detection, a bounded AI first pass, QA, second-editor handover, release authorization and delivery. The process is the product. Uni-edit does not sell raw AI output; it sells a structured, human-governed editorial process.
We say this plainly: the Suite is the system we run our own production on, and it has been operated by Uni-edit for Uni-edit. Offering it to another organization is a new step, and we would rather scope it honestly than sell you a track record it does not yet have.
