Uni-edit offers academics a high-quality Chinese to English translation service for research papers, theses, conference papers, internal publication and books. English to Chinese translation is also offered.

Quality

A professionally trained and qualified translator will translate your paper. Uni-edit accesses a pool of talented translators, and the translator for your paper will be experienced in translating in your subject-area. A native-speaker of the target language who is qualified in your area will improve the fluency of the final translation. For example, if translating a paper about IT into English, a native-speaker of English who has studied IT will proofread the paper after translation.

The quality of results of this process is far superior to that offered by most translation agencies in Taiwan or mainland China.

Translation Fee

The translation fee is based on the number of English words or Chinese characters in your source document. Ozy will provide you with an exact quote for you to consider. Discounts are available for lengthy manuscripts and for students.

Chinese to English translations: AU$0.15 per Chinese character
English to Chinese translations: AU$0.06 per English word

Time

Translation is a highly specialized task requiring many hours of concentration – it should not be rushed. Short papers usually take 1 to 3 weeks. Ozy will include the time-frame in the quotation.

Guarantee

We will rectify any problems you find with the translation, free of charge. If you are not satisfied with the overall translation, please inform Ozy why you think the translation is sub-standard, providing examples, and you will not need to pay for the services provided.
