以上價格不包括信用卡手續費及轉帳手續費。計價方式是按一般文件需要的時間處理，若是緊急文件將收取額外費用。 報價單上均會詳列收費細節我們會根據您上載的 論文跟您報價。若您需翻譯的手稿篇幅很長，或論文第一作者是全職學生時，有另外的優惠。翻譯時限：翻譯是極為耗時的專業工作，不能急就章，一般期刊論文約需一至三週的工作時間。報價時我們會附上預定的時間表給您參考。如果您需要急件翻譯服務，請事先告知，Uni-edit會盡量配合。急件翻譯的費用與一般翻譯不同，需額外收費。跟進服務征文(Uni-edit)明白，每個研究的過程都十分複雜，Uni-edit一定會盡其所能，提供品質最好的翻譯服務。然而，百密終有一疏，有些內容還是可能在翻譯的過程當中遺失，這主要是 因為中譯英的方法不只一個，而兩種語言間的差異使得有些詞彙在翻譯時必須使用不同的方式來表達。征文為了全力支持您的研究，也提供跟進服務：您在收到譯 文並加以檢查之後，可能會對其中的文字進行更改，在您更改之後，可將譯稿再寄回Uni-edit，由Uni-edit的翻譯及編輯來幫您修正。文字的調整您可視自己的需要，自由選 擇使用中文或英文，甚或利用Word「插入註解」的方式來解釋，協助征文的翻譯及編輯了解您的意思，以方便我們跟進。如果您對譯稿文字的更改只是釐清您原來想表達的意思，則Uni-edit提供的跟進修正不需額外的費用。不過若您增加了原先沒有的新文字或新想法，或是改變了原稿的內容（比如針對期刊審稿人的建議進行修正），那麼新增加的翻譯或編輯就必須額外收費。 如何完成絕佳的翻譯：精確的翻譯具極高的挑戰性，倘若作者能與Uni-edit的翻譯和編輯合作，必能顯著提昇翻譯的品質。以下提出幾項建議：
保證滿意：若您在Uni-edit的翻譯文字中發現任何問題，Uni-edit將免費為您進行修改。Uni-edit明白您可能需要一些時間來發現問題，所以Uni-edit給您兩週的時間。如果您是對整體的翻譯品質不滿意，只要您能提出具體的原因及例證，Uni-edit將不收取您任何費用。我們希望與論文的作者建立互信的合作關係。保密協定及私隱：征文(Uni-edit)明白到每位作者在託付Uni-edit進行中譯英服務之前，都是投入了數月乃至數年的心力，才完成研究。Uni-edit確保您委託的稿件將只會由Uni-edit的譯者及編輯經手，不會外流。另外，每位顧客的基本資料也將受到保護，除非獲得您的同意，否則Uni-edit絕不會自行公布您與我們的合作關係。上載編輯或翻譯之文件， 請參考該流程。 Academic and Technical Translation ServicesTranslation Service OverviewUni-edit offers translation services for English, Chinese (China), Chinese (Taiwan), Chinese (Hong Kong) and Japanese. The service is designed specifically for academic, scientific, social science and technical texts. High-quality translationA professionally trained and qualified translator will translate your manuscript. Uni-edit accesses a pool of talented translators, and the translator for your manuscript will be experienced in translating in your research subject area. For translations into English, a translator who is a native-speaker of English, from the US, UK, Canada or Australia, and who has studied in your field, will edit the English to make it read smoothly and will ensure the quality of the English is suitable for publication.The quality of results of this process is superior to that offered by most translation agencies in Hong Kong. Your translated document, after your careful review, can be submitted to an international journal for consideration for publication. Translation Quotation and Translation FeeThe translation fee is based on the number of source characters to be counted. For Chinese–English translation, the number of Chinese characters are counted.

Discounts are available for lengthy manuscripts and for manuscripts where the main author is a full-time student.TimeTranslation is a highly specialized task requiring many hours of concentration – it should not be rushed. Translation of abstracts takes 2 to 3 days. Short papers usually take 1 to 3 weeks. We will include the time-frame in the quotation. If you require a faster service, please let us know and we will try to accommodate. Urgency fees will apply for faster service.Follow-up serviceWe appreciate that your research is complex. We will do the best we can to produce a high quality result; however, there is always a chance some ideas will be 'lost in translation'. This is because there is often more than one way to translate a term or phrase and because different people interpret language in different ways. Uni-edit's goal is to support you, so we offer a follow-up service. After you receive the translation and review it, you may like to make revisions to translated text. After making revisions, send us the manuscript again and we will revise the translation. You can do the revisions in Chinese or in English, whichever is more convenient for you. You can even insert comments to explain the text in more detail to the translator and editor. This all helps to improve the translation result.If your changes are to clarify the originally intended meaning then there is no extra charge for the follow up service. If your changes are new text for new ideas, concepts or changes to the original ideas, then there will be a charge. For example, changes based on journal reviewer suggestions, the newly translated or edited parts will incur additional charges. How to get a top translation resultAccurate translation is a challenging exercise, and some collaboration between Uni-edit and the author(s) can significantly improve the quality of the outcome. These are optional, but there are several recommended ways in which authors can help:
Guarantee of satisfactionWe will rectify any problems you find with the translation free of charge. We understand it might take you a week or two to revise the translation, and we will wait up to 2 weeks. If you are not satisfied with the overall translation, please inform us why you think the translation is sub-standard, providing examples, and you will not need to pay for the services provided. We hope to build trusting relationships with authors based on mutual understanding and cooperation with the challenges involved in translation work.Confidentiality and privacyUni-edit understands that authors entrust us with their research, which has taken months or even years to produce and is often highly confidential. We respect the trust authors place in us and reciprocate by treating each and every text as confidential. All Uni-edit translators and editors have agreed to confidentiality conditions. Your manuscript will only be seen by Uni-edit staff and will never be posted anywhere public without your permission. Furthermore, each customer's identity will remain confidential. Uni-edit will never inform your colleagues about your cooperation with Uni-edit (e.g. coauthors) without your permission.
